Why work with an intimacy coach?

An intimacy coach can be an effective guide through discussing your curiosities about relationships, intimacy, and sex in a secure, playful, and private setting.

Some individuals seek coaching to enhance their romantic and sexual relationships, aiming to discover ways to experience more thrilling intimacy, deepen their connection with partners, and explore new dimensions of their erotic selves.

Others come to a coach to develop intimacy skills that benefit all types of relationships—platonic, romantic, and sexual. This includes learning to effectively communicate desires, needs, and boundaries, fostering trust through stronger personal connections, and understanding how to heal emotional wounds with accountability and respect.

How long are sessions? How many sessions will I need?

Sessions are 50 minutes, although I would be happy to accommodate longer sessions if this interests you.

Some are able to work through blocks in a few sessions but most clients benefit from continued support meeting weekly in a space of six, twelve, or twenty-four weeks.

During our connection call we will discuss your goals and which package would be best for achieving them!

What should I expect in the first session?

Our first session will be for getting to know each other better, gathering a pertinent history around the issue in question so I can uniquely design a roadmap of practical exercises to best support you.

What is the Somatica Method® ?

The Somatica Method® is an engaging and comprehensive approach to sex and relationship coaching, blending insightful conversations with experiential, hands-on practices. This dynamic method helps you cultivate deeper mind-body connections, fostering intimacy, connection, and effective relating. In our sessions, you'll step into a "lab" where we experiment and explore concepts through practical exercises. We delve into topics such as attachment, identity, core desires, boundaries, repair, communication, attunement, vulnerable sharing, arousal, and connection, creating a rich and transformative learning experience.

Who do you work with?

I work with all genders, individuals and couples.

What are the boundaries of the Somatica Method® ?

The Somatica Method® maintains strict boundaries for both practitioners and clients. As your coach, I will establish and uphold a safe and structured environment during each session. This is a clothed method, and at no point will either coach or client be undressed. Any touch involved is solely instructional and does not include genital contact. Despite the practitioner’s active use of self in this method, the Somatica Institute® strictly prohibits any dating or personal relationships between coach and client.

Is this a substitute for therapy?

Your goals and preferences will determine whether therapy or coaching is the best fit for you. Therapy typically focuses on the past, helping you process thoughts, emotions, and behaviors to influence future patterns.

My coaching practice, on the other hand, is centered on the present and working toward your future goals. I use a hands-on, experiential approach to help you change behaviors and thought patterns in real-time. While sharing your history can be beneficial, it’s not required.

My approach is all about assessing your current state and aligning it with your goals to create a clear path forward. Some people choose to work exclusively with an intimacy coach or a therapist, while others benefit from both simultaneously.

Do you take insurance?

I do not take insurance at this time.

Payments can be made for sessions online with credit card or apple pay. If you prefer to send payment discreetly, I accept venmo as well.

Where do we meet?

All sessions are conveniently held virtually. Please take these video calls in a private, uninterrupted space where you are comfortable to speak freely.
